A base for sharing information on Shiga Prefecture, which holds Japan’s largest lake, Lake Biwa. You can experience Shiga with your whole body, with a bar for savoring local sake from over 30 breweries, and a restaurant that uses plenty of Shiga-grown ingredients, such as Omi Beef, the oldest brand beef in Japan, and wagyu beef produced by specialist butchers. There is also a shop to buy special items such as Omi Beef and funazushi, a type of narezushi, as well as traditional merchandise such as Shigaraki wares.
