Nihonbashi Toyama-kan is an official Toyama regional specialty shop located at the edge of Nihonbashi in Tokyo.
The shop recommends tokonatsu, a sweet dumpling created to emulate the snow on Mt. Tateyama and inspired by a poem by Otomo no Yakamochi. This bite-sized rice cake is made of the rare white azuki bean paste wrapped in a rice flour skin and sprinkled with wasanbon sugar.
