Aomori Nebuta Festival - Aomori

Around 20 large nebuta floats take to the streets, and the summer nights come alive with the majestic floats and hayashi music, with haneto dancers shouting, “Rassera.”
Anyone can participate in this festival, as long as you wear the official costume. The event runs along a 3.1 km long course at night on August 2 to 6 and during the day on August 7. An ocean procession and fireworks display are held on the night of August 7.
*The event will be held with altered contents in 2021.
