Miyajima Oyster Festival - Hiroshima

Oysters are where it’s at when it comes to winter delicacies! The Miyajima Oyster Festival is the first oyster festival to be held in Hiroshima Prefecture.
The festival is held every year on the second Saturday and Sunday of February when oysters are the tastiest.
Enjoy a variety of cheap dishes bursting with oysters, such as steamed oysters, dote nabe hotpots, zosui rice porridges, deep-fried oysters, okonomiyaki with oysters, or oyster egg drop soup.
The direct sales corner is also popular due to its low prices and freshness!
Be sure to take advantage of the local shipping corner. There are also many other direct sales corners for visitors to enjoy.
On the stage, wadaiko drum and other performances help make the Miyajima Oyster Festival a lively event.
