The festival is held every February when oysters are the tastiest. Enjoy cheap Miyajima oyster dishes such as dote nabe hotpots, zosui rice porridges, deep-fried oysters, or okonomiyaki with oysters. The direct sales corner is also popular and ships to all parts of Japan. On the stage, visitors can also enjoy kagura music and wadaiko drum performances.
