Approximately 2,600 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino cherry, bloom fully in the park to create a dreamlike atmosphere, and their beauty charm visitors and hold them spellbound.
The hanaikada flower raft, created by the cherry blossom petals falling and covering the moat, is a spectacular sight.
