Kurashiki’s spring event set against a historically unique townscape.
On the evening of the first day, the streets are lit up with candles and taimatsu pine torches that create a magical atmosphere. The main event is the boat passages of the Bride of Seto, in which the bride in pure white dress floating down the river with the beautiful timbre of Nagamochi Uta songs and the shakuhachi, lures onlookers. Additionally, there are events for all ages, such as Kaguya Hime and Kurashiki Fujimusume making their way down the river by boat, parades and concerts, plus folk entertainment and Yuru-kyara mascot stage performances.
