Nara To-kae is a traditional summer event where candles are used to illuminate the prayers of the people visiting World Heritage sites in Nara, where time flows at a relaxed pace.
The many venues are illuminated with the light of around 20,000 candles each night. You can walk around each site, take in the scenes, and light a candle yourself. Please enjoy this chance to create new and wonderful memories.
